The earth needs to be habitable and humane. Humans definition of success is not in sync with nature. We’ve lost the ability to listen to nature. We don’t see bees, butterflies, bats, beetles, or flies. We’ve lost touch with fireflies. Sue was responsible for the large sequoias at Mariposa Grove. She would take walks in the grove several times a week. One day, she heard the trees talking to her. Roads, trams, and concrete were suffocating the sequoias. Sue and her team created a plan to remove the concrete, trams and roads. They diverted traffic away from Mariposa Grove. For several years, Mariposa Grove was allowed to heal.
